Hi! I'm excited for new music. It's been far too long since I put anything on record. I raised a human during a global pandemic. I moved house multiple times. I lost my mom to Alzheimer's. I'm still feeling the weight of that one. Some good friends died of disease and some of despair. I clawed my way back to health after Long Covid. That woke me up. I guess I crammed a lot of life into this past decade. All of it, bittersweet, as is my way. Something to dance to. To cry to. Something to reflect on and to question. It's all there in the songs I recorded last year with Aaron Stern at Verdugo Sound in LA and I can't wait for you to hear it in ‘24. Also, I love the way this photo, shot by Portland artist NoNamey (Zoey Taylor) one month before the pandemic, makes me look like a giant standing among the palm trees of the San Fernando Valley. I want to live up to this image. I think we all deserve to feel like giants among the palms. xo LL

"Little Lonely's full-Length debut release, produced by multi-instrumentalist, Sean Hoffman (American Music Club, Loch&Key, Linda Perhacs) combines the plaintive wail of Maria McKee, Julee Cruise and Hope Sandoval with the soft hush of a loping steel string horizon, echo-drenched guitars and girl group swagger. It’s a strange, surreal take on UFOs, the Foxy Lady Tavern, tweakers, zombies and mini-bars – and that’s just on the dashing track “Buttonwillow”.Little Lonely features accomplished musicians from the world of Indie-Rock, Folk and Americana circles in Los Angeles. These include: Darice Bailey (The Broken West, The Coals), Nic Chaffee (Eels, George Clinton), Greg Eklund (Everclear, The Oohlas), Joey Galvan (Pete Anderson), Eric Heywood (The Pretenders, Son Volt), Baskerville Jones (The Rebirth), Robby Marshall (John Daversa Band), Heather McIntosh (Norah Jones, Gnarls Barkley), George Sluppick (The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Mofro)."  Josh Mills, It's Alive Media

“A perfect blend of Folk, Indie-Rock and Americana music, Little Lonely’s raspy, haunting twang conjures an alternate universe where Chan Marshall and Julee Cruise might hang together at a lost roadside honky tonk smoking cigarettes and playing sad country songs on the jukebox.”  Kim Grant, TJ West Music Magazine

"Folk singer Little Lonely covers a lot of ground on her debut album, weaving homespun Americana, dark pop and even a little girl-group pizzazz into 11 provocative yarns that feel very much like Cain's Middle America roots."  Kevin Bronson, Buzz Bands

“Moody, subtle, intelligent and just occasionally, a little bit Patsy Cline.”  Americana UK

“This album is as good as anything the major labels have put out in the past 50 years. As far as I’m concerned, she is already a star.  She doesn’t need a major label.  She just needs to be heard.”  Frank Gutch, Jr.

Willie, Cash and Emmylou at their thoughtful, poetic best, walk some of the same streets.”  International Review of Music
